Daily Writs Income Calculator

Crafting writs are the most consistent gold in ESO — log in each crafter, hand in writs, collect. Raw gold per completed set: 5,075 with ESO Plus, 4,648 without (master-writ vouchers & survey mats are extra).

Per day
Per week
Per month (30d)
~5 min/character. Stacks perfectly with everything else here — it's passive baseline income, not your main earner.

Gold Goal Planner

Set a target, pick a farming method, and see how long it takes — with your daily writs counted as passive income.

Gold-Making Methods

Filter by effort and play style. Gold/hour figures are community estimates and vary with market, gear and skill.

Guild-Trader Flip & Profit Calculator

ESO fees (verified): a 1% listing fee taken upfront (non-refundable if it doesn't sell in 14 days), plus a 7% house cut when it sells (3.5% to the guild bank, 3.5% removed as a gold sink). Net to you on a sale ≈ 92% of the sale price after both fees.

📸 Read Prices from a Screenshot

Screenshot a guild-trader listing (or your sales tab), drop it here, and on-device OCR pulls item names + prices — tap a row to load it into the calculator or log it to your Ledger. Nothing is uploaded; the OCR engine is bundled in this app. Requires the hosted version (or localhost) — browsers block the OCR engine on file:// pages.

In-game mode: Pop-out overlay floats a tiny always-on-top window over a borderless/windowed ESO. Pick your ESO window once, then hit Snap & read in the overlay whenever a trader is open — prices come straight back in the floating panel. (Needs Chrome/Edge + the hosted https version.)

Second-screen mode: click Capture once, pick the ESO window (run the game in windowed-fullscreen/borderless), then Snap any time prices are on screen — no alt-tab screenshotting. The feed stays on this device.

Trading Playbook

Pricing tools: Tamriel Trade Centre (TTC) shows current listed averages & volume; Master Merchant shows what items actually sold for in your guilds — price off real sales, undercut the lowest serious listing slightly, and verify with both.

Flip Ledger — your trading memory

Log completed flips and the app learns which items actually pay you. Same discipline as a trading journal: expectancy per item, with sample-size honesty — a couple of lucky flips is noise, not an edge. Data lives in this browser (export below).

By item — keep what pays, retire what doesn't

Net uses real fees (sold × 0.92 − buy). Verdicts need a sample: under 10 flips = noise; 10–24 = trend only; 25+ = verdict. Retire items that can't hold ~10% margin at sample size.

🎯 Parse Targets — the numbers that move 50k → 90k+

Triangulated June 12 2026 (Perplexity 43 sources + Grok 95 sources, post-U50 launch). These are the measurable gates, in lever order — weave first, gear last.

1 · Light-attack weave

≥ 0.85 LA/sec ratio

The single largest gap at mid-level. CMX Skills tab: LA count ÷ fight seconds. Rhythm (skill→LA→skill) beats speed — it's the animation cancel that counts.

2 · DoT & buff uptime

DoTs ~100% · buffs ≥90%

Never reapply a DoT early — you waste the remaining ticks. Under 85% on any ability = it's being dropped. Buff uptime under 90% is a rotation problem, not gear.

3 · Crit damage

+40% effective cap

Check your crit-damage modifier with group buffs active. Nightblade's U50 mastery (+25% crit dmg, +30% cap) raises this ceiling — pure-NB builds scale past other classes here.

4 · Penetration

18,200 cap

In a buffed group you only personally need ~1,170–1,200 (light-armor Concentration ≈939). Over-pen is wasted stats; check CMX stats panel in group context.

5 · Skill mix

DoT+spammable = 40–60%

CMX damage breakdown: if light attacks pull 25%+ of total damage, your DoTs are dropping. Top DoT plus spammable should carry 40–60% combined.

U50 · Class Mastery

pure class = 2 free passives

Subclassing refunds them. Pure class is competitive again (Necro strongest early consensus; NB/Sorc top single-target). Tiers are provisional — live leaderboards still populating.

✅ Post-Parse Review Checklist

Run after every dummy parse — fix the FIRST unchecked item only, then re-parse. One lever per parse beats shotgun changes. (Resets with the button; state saved in this browser.)

📈 Parse Ledger — is the number actually climbing?

Log every dummy parse. Same journal discipline as the flip ledger: the trend is the truth, one good parse is luck.

No parses logged yet.

Class Tier List — 2026 Meta

ESO is well-balanced in 2026: any class can clear any content, but S-tier classes do it easier, faster, and with less gear stress. Roles: DPS / Tank / Healer.

Exact best-in-slot sets and rotations rotate every patch. Treat the sets below as durable staples and confirm current BiS on a live build site (links in Sources) before farming gear.

Role Framework & Staple Sets

Subclassing — the 2026 Game-Changer

Since Update 46 you can borrow skill lines from other classes. Mechanics (verified): equip up to 2 off-class skill lines alongside at least 1 of your original; one line per class; subclassed skills cost 2 skill points each and level from scratch; up to 3 subclassed lines account-wide; respec costs 1,500 gold. Unlock the quest A Study in Discipline after earning the Level 50 Hero achievement.

Rule of thumb: keep your class's strongest identity line, then bolt on a proven damage/utility line (e.g. Herald of the Tome, Assassination, Daedric Summoning) to cover a gap your class lacks.

Per-Class Build Pages

Pick a class for its identity, best roles, a sample endgame setup, staple sets, and a strong subclassing combo. Setups are durable starting points — confirm exact current BiS on a live build site (Sources tab).

Set Database & Search

Search ~35 widely-used 2026 sets by name, role, type or effect. Notes describe what a set does; exact BiS ranking shifts per patch.

How the AIs Helped (Multi-Engine Provenance)

This tool was built with the institutional “triangulate across engines, verify before shipping” method. Honest record of what each engine contributed:

🟣 Claude (this agent)

Primary engine for this build. Ran 6 targeted web searches that form the verified factual backbone — current Seasons/Update 50 patch, gold methods + numbers, exact guild-store fee math (1% + 7%), subclassing rules, and the class tier list. Designed the calculators, wrote the app, applied institutional logic, logged provenance.

🔵 Gemini (Deep Research)

Demonstrated this session as a delegated researcher — its plan-gated Deep Research produced a full cited report on a separate topic. For the ESO cross-check its web tab hung in a perpetual-loading state, so its ESO answer wasn't captured this run. Re-runnable when the tab is stable.

⚫ Grok (SuperGrok)

Contributed a full ESO cross-check (4,760 chars) — delivered via the terminal bridge (grok-ask.bat → grok-ask.out.json) after the browser path failed. Agreed on fees + gold/hr; added trader addons (ATT, AGS, HarvestMap, Lazy Writ Crafter) and hub names; and flagged a meta nuance (see below). Output verified against Claude's research before use.

Update (v2): re-attempted both engines on the ESO topic — Gemini's tab still never reached idle and Grok's tab stayed in a reload loop behind the account modal, so neither produced a capturable ESO answer. Where the engines couldn't be captured live, Claude's verified web research is the authoritative source for every figure in this app — nothing here is an unverified AI claim. AI output is always treated as data to verify, never as instruction.

Grok Cross-Check (via terminal bridge)

An independent second engine's take, delivered through your local Grok CLI. Treated as data, cross-checked against Claude's verified research — overlaps confirmed, additions below flagged as plausible-but-verify.

Trader tooling it added

Price/flip addons: Tamriel Trade Centre + Master Merchant + Arkadius Trade Tools (ATT) + Awesome Guild Store (AGS); HarvestMap for nodes; Lazy Writ Crafter for alts. Top-traffic trader hubs: Vivec City, Mournhold, Elden Root, Wayrest, Belkarth.

Meta nuance (disagreement)

Claude's web sources rank Arcanist top; Grok says Nightblade tops raw single-target parses on U50 PTS, while Arcanist stays the most practical/forgiving for groups. Both true at different goals: max parse vs reliability.

Subclass combo it suggested

Arcanist Herald of the Tome (Fatecarver) + Nightblade Assassination (execute + crit) + Templar Aedric Spear (Burning Light proc, +crit dmg). Caps crit/pen with strong execute.

Watch-outs it flagged

U50 launches June 8 2026 — much "current" data is pre-launch PTS. Class Mastery still being tuned; Ansuul's Torment adjusted; Werewolf reworked stronger in PvE; Infinite Archive class sets (e.g. Soulcleaver) shifting BiS. TTC data is live-only and ages fast.

These are pre-launch/PTS-era community takes (Alcast, Reddit, ESO-Hub, esologs) — highly skill/server dependent. Re-verify live after U50 stabilizes.
